How do you make the cream look so real?

I used white silicone here, though I'm going to try something else for whipped cream, since I don't like the texture of silicone once dry.

All your miniature food and photos are so beautiful, you would also make an impressive real food artist/photographer!

thanks, I appreciate this comment. I'm not much into photography except the macro miniature one.
I would like to try my hand on 'real photography', but where's the time?

Well I searched and searched and searched and finally asked someone how in the world she did that awesome whipped cream and she told me to use white silicone. :D
And it's like a miracle! It's eas,y quick and beautiful!
I still need to work on cupcakes themselves but the whipped cream is great :P

The cupcakes look perfect to me :D

I'll have to try that sometime, better than fighting liquid clay lol.

yes definitively better that fighting with liquid clay!! I've got tons of different icing at home, all in plastic cups but now that I discovered silicone I will use this for the icing!

Do you think silicone is used to make the meringues like Linda made here (I <333 her):

Maybe?
We had a thread about that on the cdhm.com forum.
Or maybe ask her directly.
